She is 28 years old and a mother of three children, and has been diagnosed with Stage IIIB Invasive Ductal Carcinoma. Amanda has been through and overcome many things in her life on her own but nothing as hard as what she is going through now. She underwent a Mastectomy surgery on April 15th and started aggressive chemotherapy treatment on May 16th.
She has three children; Brennan, Danny and Allie. And was recently married on October 31st, 2008.
She enjoys a wide array of things from sitting around and playing video games to going out in the woods camping and fishing and playing backyard football.
Her favorite movies are Where the Heart is, Natural Born Killers, Any Audrey Hepburn movie, and will watch any of the numerous B-Movies I put in front of her. She LOVES Japanese horror flicks like Ichi the Killer and Tokyo Gore Police. That's probably why we best get along, we can just sit around and watch movies and tv shows all night and day and never get bored of them or eachother.
And when it comes to music she will listen to just about any genre imaginable but her favorite are Mindless Self Indulgence, Jack Johnson, Sam Cooke, Villebillies, Tech N9ne, Lynard Skynard... Pretty much any thing from any genre as long as its good and not Linkin Park.
She is becoming quite the Guitar Hero although quite masterful on easy is fearing the jump to medium. Loves to play Madden simply for the fact that she is better at it than anyone else. Recently discovered those Lego games, Lego Batman, Lego Star wars etc etc and has become quite addicted to them.
BOOKWORM. That about sums that part of her interest up, and is currently rereading The Watchmen getting ready for the movie. As well as random books she finds at Half Priced Books like 'Best of Weekly World News'.
Amanda also has a great love for comedy. More specifically stand up and sketch comedy. Her favorite comedians are Doug Stanhope, Andy Andrist and Joe Rogan.
I was recently able to get her addicted to Pro Wrestling. She is a late bloomer but quickly becoming a smark like me. Her favorite WWE Supertstars are The Big Show and Randy Orton.
She loves kitty cats and would own an infinite number of them if it were possible. She has three kittie cats, all calicos named Simple, JuJu and Jumper. And is clammering to obtain yet another cat in the near future.
She is an all around great person that doesn't deserve all the mess she is going through. I could go on all day about the things she enjoys because there are so many different things and on and on about how amazing she is.That is why I married her, that is why I will stick with her, and that is why I will do whatever it takes to keep her.
